Delco Automotive Components Group (AC Delco) has been a division of General Motors since 1916. The company was formed by Albert Champion and Frank A. Remy. In 1926, the Dayton Engineering Labs Company joined it, resulting in the current trademark name AC Delco - the compound AC (Albert Champion) and Delco (Dayton Engineering Labs Company). Today, AC Delco is a global leader in automotive parts and related services and offers quality after-sales service for all makes and models including Ford, Chrysler, General Motors, Toyota and Honda, as well as some original parts and equipment. The AC Delco product range includes more than 100,000 items of spare parts and consumables for 37 product lines, including batteries, spark plugs, filters, brake system parts, belts, wiper blades, and much more. The company's factories are located on all continents of the world. Currently, AC Delco produces auto parts and consumables for 95% of car brands.
