The Monroe brand belongs to the Tenneco Automotive concern, which was founded in 1916 in the city of Monroe in the USA. In 1977, it was bought out by the American giant Tenneco.

Monroe's products include: shock absorbers, springs, shock absorber boots, bearings, steering tips, tie rods, air bags and other suspension parts.

Due to the excellent quality of the parts produced, they are supplied to the assembly lines of world car manufacturers such as: Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Citroën, Chrysler, Ford, Fiat, Hyundai, Mazda, Mercedes, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Suzuki, Toyota, Volvo, VW.

Today, Monroe conducts innovative research and development at the Ermua Center in Spain. The quality of spare parts complies with international standards and is confirmed by ISO 9001, IATF and ISO 9002 SGS certificates. Also, when packaging third-party parts under the MONROE brand, the packaged parts comply with the requirements of European standards ISO/TS 16949, TUF and ECE-90R.
