NSK was founded in 1916. She became the first in Japan to manufacture a bearing. Over time, increasing its manufacturing capabilities, NSK opened several factories. In the post-war years, factories were strategic objects, which prompted the company to expand its product range. The range of new parts has been added: rotating spindle bushings, large and oversized NSK bearings, small and miniature bearings. Since the 70s of the XX century, NSK Ltd. begins a series of new factories opening around the world: in 1970 - in Australia, 1971 - in South Korea, 1972 - in Brazil, 1976 - in Great Britain. In the next ten years, the company introduces new materials for the manufacture of bearing spare parts and develops raw material processing technologies. In the 90s, the dynamic development of the production of NSK products began in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, China. A new range of quality spare parts for various industries is being developed and produced. Today NSK owns about 50 companies around the world, with main offices in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. The concern produces 1.25 billion high-quality bearings annually. Such brands of automakers as Toyota, BMW, Nissan, Mazda give their preference to NSK as the main supplier of bearing parts.
