The following main types of standard sensors are supported:
direct current
alternating current
with frequency modulation of signal
In the actuator simulation mode, the following standard devices are available:
custom ignition module (COP)
idle air control
EGR valve
fuel tank ventilation valve
solenoid valve for boost pressure control
fuel burner
solenoid valve for variable valve timing system
electronically controlled throttle valve
air conditioning fan
In addition, the module can perform the functions of a multimeter, measuring voltage, resistance and frequency of signals.
The “test that simulates the operation of sensors” function is specially designed for quick and convenient diagnosis of faults and simulation of automotive sensors in several modes:
"DC voltage simulation"
"simulation of constant frequency"
“simulation of a predefined waveform”
“simulating a hand-crafted waveform.”
The sensor simulator module is essentially a generator of any standard or arbitrarily specified signals, which allows the master to “have at hand” a full range of known-good sensors, valves, injectors and other regulators for any type of engine and car brand.
All this ultimately results in significant savings in the time of fault localization in sequential circuits: sensor-connector-wiring-ECU.
